What sort of app do you need? =

If you need to control Zoneminder from the app

You unfortunately don't have too many options:

  • Use ZM's web interface directly - use either the classic or flat skin. As of March 2015, the mobile skin seems incompletely implemented. The disadvantage of the classic/flat screen is every tap results in a new browser window. The mobile skin keeps every thing in one screen, but it does not implement various screens (such as events :p)
  • It seems there was/is an app called EyeZM. It does not seem to exist in the app store at all for iOS (US). So I never got to try it
  • There is another app called ZMView. The good part is it works. The bad part is its very unattractive. If you like good UX, this app has a long way to go. I'd also recommend you buy the "pro" version for $3.99. I like supporting developers and it also takes away the ads at the bottom
